GNSS

EPOS GNSS Data Portal

Access, explore, and share GNSS data, metadata, and products supporting Solid Earth Science across Europe.

What is EPOS

The European Plate Observing System (EPOS) simplifies and integrates the use of data, data products, and research infrastructures for Solid Earth Science in Europe, ensuring scientists and institutions can collaborate more efficiently.

TCS GNSS Data and Products

The mission of the GNSS Thematic Core Service (TCS) is to provide, through EPOS, access to GNSS data, metadata, products, and software supporting research in the Solid Earth Sciences.

Connecting Europe through GNSS Science

Open Source Platform — GLASS

The EPOS GNSS Thematic Core Service has developed an open-source platform called GLASS, designed to store and disseminate GNSS data and metadata from stations operating across Europe.

In collaboration with EUREF, multiple GLASS nodes are interconnected to provide a single access point through web portals to:

GNSS Portals

a new way of accessing GNSS data and products for Solid Earth Science researchers

Virtual Machine

To distribute the software to the various partners, the UBI team has put together a virtual machine, or simply VM, with most of the software that all partners have been developing pre-compiled and installed

M3G Portal

The portal where operational centres (which operate the GNSS stations) can upload information about the type of instrument and antenna they are using, when it was installed, which type of receiver, contact information, name of station and network etc.

Data Gateway Portal

This is an e-infrastructure to store and disseminate GNSS data and products from existing Research Infrastructures. The portal stores EPOS stations metadata and enables access to the GNSS observations and products.

GNSS Products Portal

The portal enables access to the GNSS observations and products. Graphical interfaces enable station visualization and multiple queries over stations and associated metadata allowing users to retrieve the desired information.
